THE HISTORY OF SAUVESTRE AMMUNITION

In addition to his professional activities as engineer in charge of development and production of munitions and weapon systems for the French Defense Ministry, Jean-claude Sauvestre, between 1977 and 1987 researched, engineered and prooved the 12 gauge hunting sabot ammunition.

From '87 to '93, Jean-claude Sauvestre extended his work to 16 and 20 gauges. State of the art production systems ensure the supply of this new ammunition to hunting markets worldwide.

Sauvestre's inventions are patented in Europe, the United States of America and in many other countries.
